speaking
Alex’s mission is simple: Saving lives. One speech at a time.
Alex has spoken to over 25,000 people ranging from College, High School, Middle School, Elementary, Industry, Business, and Youth Groups. His major topics include over-coming fear, facing adversity, following your passion, healthy living, individuality, respect, humility, being your best, and connecting with your true authentic voice. Just as he needed help along his journey, he wanted to be there to help others from sharing his story. He is compelled to focus his attention on helping others through speaking. Alex has always had a simple goal: to save at least one person’s life.
While each person’s human experiences may vary, we have the same tools within us to find the answers. His journey with adversity and achievement go hand in hand. During his highs and lows, he’s learned it’s the tough times that define us. The moment we pick ourselves up from what we think is the end... that’s where greatness is found.

Testimonials
"Hi Mr. Gray , I’m a student attending Torrance High School and surf team. Today listening to your speech, it was powerful and so inspiring. The moments that you went through and for you to approach us and share it with us, i feel deep gratitude. I was moved by how you knew who you wanted to be and how you embraced every part of your life to it. That is something I have been questioning for a while, who I wanted to be. And it felt like a wake up call when you came in to that room, speaking about it. Surfing has been a passion for me ever since high school started, and your lifestyle is one of my biggest goals. I want to live a life where I can fully live it and remember every moment. I tend to have self doubt when I’m in an uncomfortable situation, but I felt an adrenaline when you said “Don’t give up, and you’ll be unstoppable”. The words were just so powerful when you said unstoppable, and it gave me hope in life in every way possible. I hope I meet you someday, and talk about life. Thank you so much for coming, you’ve changed my life”

"Alex did an exceptional job sharing his personal story and connecting with the students in the audience. His ability to be authentic and vulnerable created an opportunity for students to be truly impacted by his message. He is a special individual that can make a difference in young peoples lives and one that I can't thank Alex enough for taking the time to speak with our students."

"Hi Alex! you spoke at my school today, pvis, and I just thought i’d let you know how much I appreciated what you said and especially the way you said it. I’ve really been struggling lately with self harm, depression, anxiety and panic attacks and I felt so much comfort in listening to what you said. I wasn’t able to be there be there, if that makes sense, as I had a panic attack half way through so had to focus on myself but once I had calmed down and brought myself back to earth to listen to what you said, I was very inspired. Vaping at my school, much like any middle school, is a big issue and I know many people who have experimented with it in the past. I know that what you said really hit close to home for everyone today, I am on the leadership team so I had several people come up to me and tell me how great the assembly was and how they had a different perspective now on vaping and drugs as a topic. So I’d just like to say one big thank you!"

"When we speak to them, they take it as a lecture. When Alex spoke to them, it’s just him talking. He was able to connect with them and just talk. He’s really good. It was powerful."
